1. Pixabay
This website boasts over 760,000 photos, vectors and art illustrations. With a prominent search bar, it’s easy to find what you need. There’s plenty of categories, and you can create a free account to save your favorites. You can also sort them into your own categories.

2. Pexels
This website features popular searches so you can see what’s currently trending. You can filter by the color of a photo, popular photos, new photos, top photographers, and of course by specific search terms. It’s easy to see the license for each photo as well (whether it’s free for personal and/or commercial use and attribution requirements). You can also create an account to save your favorite photos.

3. Gratisography
These photos have a certain whimsical (sometimes goofy and even eccentric!) feel to them. If you’re looking for out of the box and outstandingly creative photos, this is the place for you.

4. Stock Snap
Browse by specific search terms, popular searches, what’s trending, or recently added. You can also see how many people have viewed a photo, downloaded a photo, and even favorited a photo. If you sign up for their newsletter, you’ll also get weekly stock photos sent to your inbox.

5. Find A Photo
This website is strikingly minimalist when you first land on the homepage, making it very easy to search for photos. Search by color, collection, source, or even recent images. The only drawback? There’s not way to save your favorites.

6. Kaboompics
While the website is a little cluttered with sidebar advertisements and the search bar is not as prominent (in the top-right corner of the website), they have a nice selection of free stock photos. There’s no way to save photos that you like, but you can search by specific terms, hashtags, or predetermined Categories that they have.

7. Splitshire
Browse by recent photos, top best photos, categories, or search terms, but there’s no way to save photos you like for later use. You can follow their Instagram feed to get the latest updates / photos.

8. Unsplash
High resolution photos that are constantly updated. Search by term, latest, most popular, or by collection. Their photos are very unique and often feature a lot of nature or still life. If you sign up for their newsletter, they’ll deliver new stock photos straight to your inbox!

9. Life of Pix
There’s a simple search bar to find what you’re looking for. They also have a gallery (similar to categories) where you can browse groups of photos. What’s pretty neat is that they also have a Life of Vids website where you can download free videos uploaded on Vimeo for personal and commercial use!

10. Jay Mantri
Beautiful stock photos for use. Many are of nature, landscapes, and architecture. His style is very unique. and you’ll have to sort through his tags to get more of a certain kind of photo since it’s built on Tumblr.
